THE MACHINE NETWORK IN PHOENIX
The first nationwide network for machines is now available in Arizona.
The entire Phoenix metropolitan area is now covered by the Machine Network™. Purpose-built for supporting M2M/IoT applications, the Machine Network brings wireless data connectivity exclusively to Machines. Powered by Ingenu’s RPMA® technology, the Machine Network is the first such public network dedicated entirely to connecting the Internet of Things.
RPMA technology enables machines to communicate more efficiently and reliably than ever before. With the launch of the Machine Network in Phoenix, municipalities, businesses and over 3 million people will be able to leverage its always-available, ubiquitous connectivity.
The Machine Network is rapidly being deployed across the country. To find out when the network is coming to your area, check out our nationwide coverage map.
Bringing the Internet of Things
TO PHOENIX
Ingenu’s Machine Network is powered by the company’s patented RPMA® (Random Phase Multiple Access) communication technology, which provides robust, reliable connectivity across a variety of operating environments. Although the topology of Phoenix is vast, the urban and remote areas are served by only 10 RPMA access points, which is significantly less infrastructure than would be required with comparable cellular coverage.
“Adding this type of smart city technology is a real advantage for our economy,” said Greg Stanton, Mayor of Phoenix. “Private networks and machine-to-machine connectivity will help Phoenix, and other cities working to become more sustainable, to find new efficiencies and cost savings.”
