WSO-11

The SEL WSO-11 Wireless Sensor for Overhead Lines helps personnel locate faults quickly and easily by monitoring distribution circuits for faults and outages. This distribution automation sensor stores load data and monitors the distribution line for loss of current or fault events. Reports are transmitted to an RPMA® access point using an integrated radio. Users can periodically log circuit load data for system analysis and remotely monitor the system via RPMA.

Receive wireless indication of fault status from the WSO-11 Wireless Sensor for Overhead Lines to pinpoint the fault location before dispatching troubleshooting crews. The WSO-11 uses the AutoRANGER trip logic for simple integration with existing protection schemes. After detecting a fault, the WSO-11 alerts personnel of the affected area with an exception fault report.
