The Internet of Things, as a concept, has been around for a number of years. Just ask Wikipedia. And while it has grown, it’s been at a sloth’s pace. That is to say, there certainly hasn’t been exponential IoT growth. If you look at analyst reports, something happens between today and 2020 for it to go from millions to tens of billions of devices connected. What is that thing that’s supposed to happen? What is the magic button that will be pressed so that suddenly IoT devices pour out into the world like angry ants from a destroyed anthill?

That magic button is LPWA technology, specifically our very own RPMA. With Ultranarrowband (e.g., Sigfox, Telensa, NWave, WavIOT, etc.) or  m-ary FSK/Chirp Spread Spectrum (m-FSK/CSS, e.g., LoRa, Sensus, Z-wave, etc.) solutions you may get an exciting bit of sparks and fizzle only to have the fire die under disappointing system performance and complete inability to scale as networks fill to capacity (which should be cause for celebration, that means IoT carriers and device makers are making money!). With cellular solutions you get the same old slow growth market and then subsequent abandonment through technology sunsets like the 2G sunset. With RPMA you get exponential IoT growth, because it is designed from the ground up to meet the needs of IoT devices.
